A concentrate is similar in feel to a toner, but it’s far more advanced and active. While a toner is traditionally used to refresh and rebalance the skin after cleansing, a concentrate is formulated with a higher level of targeted actives designed to actively treat the skin.

Think of it as your “treatment step” between cleansing and serums. It has a lightweight, fast-absorbing texture like a toner, but works much harder—delivering ingredients that help refine skin texture, improve clarity, boost hydration, and enhance the performance of the rest of your routine.

Is this suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes — the Ageless AHA Glow Concentrate is formulated for all skin types, including sensitive skin. We recommend starting with every second night to allow your skin to adjust, then building up to daily use as tolerated.

Why does the concentrate change colour over time?

Natural variations in colour may occur as our colourants are derived from flower and plant extracts rather than synthetic dyes. This is a beautiful reflection of the natural, plant-based ingredients we use — and a sign you're getting the real thing. It does not affect the efficacy or safety of the product.

Can I use this with other active ingredients?

Yes, but with care. Avoid layering directly with other exfoliating acids or high-strength retinol in the same routine. The concentrate pairs beautifully with hydrating serums and moisturisers. If you're new to AHAs, introduce it gradually and always follow with SPF during the day.

Is this an exfoliant?

This concentrate acts as your daily chemical exfoliant. It’s designed to gently resurface the skin with consistent use, helping to smooth texture, clear congestion, and keep skin looking fresh and refined without over-stripping.

For best results, we still recommend pairing it with a weekly physical exfoliant (Refining Face Polish) for a deeper polish, to help lift away any additional surface build-up and keep skin feeling exceptionally smooth and renewed.
